In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Enchanted Stream, and going for a hike on the Bald Mountain       Trail is always a great adventure. A splendid place for whitewater paddling close to Horseshoe Pond is Cold Stream; you can stay the night at Loon Echo Campground. A quick journey to Bean Brook next to Horseshoe Pond is a glorious idea, and nearby you find the Alder Brook Trail which is a nice hiking                  trail.
