A visit to Horseshoe Pond is always a good idea. Horseshoe Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is February. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Horseshoe Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. a spot this is for outdoors people. Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area around here; King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a great local campground. Going for a hike along the Fire Warden Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you can see Black Nubble from Horseshoe Pond.
