Babel Brook is a delightful local stream, and if you came to camp Big Moose Campground is a brilliant       site to do that. The Packards Trail is a good hiking trail close to Horseshoe Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Pearl Pond. During the warm days of summer here at Horseshoe Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Horseshoe Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a                  day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Horseshoe Pond. Horseshoe Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
