Through the months of summer here at Horseshoe Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Horseshoe Pond. Having a wonderful time at Horseshoe Pond is uncomplicated. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cold Brook Trail; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Wild River. Whohoo, so much       exciting stuff in one place! The White Mountains rules! Howard Brook is a great local stream, as expected you could also check out Little Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Horseshoe Pond is right by the Stone House Trail, and camping is available at Basin Pond Campground. If you need a place to stay Sunday River is a wonderful choice, and you'll never forgive                  yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunday River if you're here. Horseshoe Pond is located in the White Mountains. Camping at Cold River Campground is always a perfect experience; dry warm beds await you at Oxford House Inn. This lake is so wonderful. At Horseshoe Pond you can catch a glimpse of Adams Mountain; do take a hike on the Blueberry Ridge Trail. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Black Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Horseshoe Pond and you like golf, you can check out Lake Kezar Country Club, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Crooked River.
