    What a nice lake Horseshoe Pond is. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Swift River in a kayak, and Black Mountain is a brilliant local ski area. The summit of Whitecap Mountain can be observed from Horseshoe Pond; if you need a place to stay Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Abram. You'll need more than a day to
 
   discover everything Horseshoe Pond has to offer, you can camp at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Brook Trail, and going for a hike on the Angel Falls Trail is always a wonderful adventure. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Go for a hike on the Chimney Trail, and get yourself  
               into a kayak and hit Black Brook.
High temperatures at Horseshoe Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Horseshoe Pond. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn, and you can stay the night at Stony Brook Rec. and Camping.
A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Horseshoe Pond; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
