After a long day outdoors Twin Pond Motel & Campground is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Horseshoe Pond is a great place to camp, Nor-40 Campground is a great place, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Colonial Valley Motel. High temperatures at Horseshoe Pond during the summertime are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures       at Horseshoe Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Horseshoe Pond gets lots of water; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. At Horseshoe Pond you can see Sanborn Hill, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Fellows Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Horseshoe Pond is perfect fun, East Livermore Campgrounds is a perfect local campground, and Titcomb is a great local ski area.                  That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Horseshoe Pond has it all. Wilson Stream is a magnificent whitewater spot near Horseshoe Pond; going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
