Horseshoe Pond is a lake worth visiting. Why not camp at Clover Hill Campground while you're here at Horseshoe Pond; do put some time aside to spend at Fish River Falls while you're here at Horseshoe Pond. Fish River is a fine whitewater spot near Horseshoe Pond; hiking along the Island Pond Trail is tremendous fun. Be careful coming to Horseshoe Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you came for an overnight stay Pelletier's Campground is a fine spot

If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Machias River, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Fox Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A quick visit to Fourmile Brook near Horseshoe Pond is a brilliant idea, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Round Trail. At Horseshoe Pond during the long summer days highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime | |
