If you need a location to stay Patten Motel is a good choice, and a fine site to camp here at Horseback Pond is Matagamon Wilderness Campground. At Horseback Pond all through the summertime highs are in the       70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Horseback Pond temperatures fall to the-10's.
