               Hopkins Pond. There's so much to do here at Hopkins Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Parks Pond Campground is a great spot for that; do take a look at Debec Pond, it's a scenic lake.
After a long day outdoors White Birches Country Club is a splendid place to spend a night or two; don't leave Hopkins Pond without first going for a hike along the Old Gold Mine Trail. The yearly rain here at Hopkins Pond is about average; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Union River - West Branch is a magnificent whitewater spot right next door to Hopkins Pond, and splendid hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail.
