Holt Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and since you're here you must have a look at Allen Cove. Old Quarry Ocean Adventures is a brilliant campground nearby, and not far from Holt Pond you'll stumble on Burntland Pond which is a picturesque lake. descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Jerusalem Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure; splendid water scenery is available at Inner Harbor next to Holt Pond.
There is a nice hiking trail
in the neighborhood of Holt Pond called the Black Dina Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Goose Falls offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course
like Island Country Club, and there are other locations here than Holt Pond, for example Georges Pond. The Sawyer Notch Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Holt Pond, and if you need a place to stay Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is
a glorious choice.
Having a great time at Holt Pond is uncomplicated. Swamps like Labrador Swamp near Holt Pond make for great locations to have a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blue Hill Falls. If you came for
an overnight stay Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is a glorious place to camp, and on a delightful day you get a brilliant panorama of Brays Mountain from Holt Pond.
