There's so much to do here at Holmes Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cobscook Bay State Park is a perfect location for that, and Holmes Pond is not the only spot nearby, Sunken Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful.       Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Davis Beach, and Holmes Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a pleasant local campground. There's whitewater on Hobart Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you get bored of Holmes Pond you could also take a look at close by Josh Pond. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Holmes Pond. At Holmes Pond during the warmest time of the year highs                  are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Holmes Pond temperatures descend to the 0's.
