     Holland Pond is a nice lake to visit. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Holland Pond has to offer, you can camp at King's Trailer Park, and you can run the rapids of Penobscot River. Holland Pond gets a lot of water; through November this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. All through the long summer days here at Holland Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically  
   in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Holland Pond tend to be in the 0's.
There's just no way someone can get bored here at Holland Pond. There's great hiking along the Hardy Pond Trail, and after a long day outdoors Milford Motel On The River is a delightful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Old Gold Mine Trail offers hiking at its best; get your heart beating
 
               on the pleasant whitewater of Stillwater River.
This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Hidden Meadows Golf Course is always a bliss, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Holland Pond; Scutaze Trail is a good local trail. Holland Pond is a location with many visitors from Bangor; swing by Costigan Brook it's a perfect place to take a look at. New Hermon Mountain is a tremendous local ski area, and a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center.
Holland Pond is not the only location nearby, Mansell Pond is a nearby lake, and you can stay the night at Villa Vaughn Campground.
