On a great day at Holeb Pond you can take a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail, and paddling on Parlin Pond Stream is so much fun. Drift down the rapids of Moose River - South Branch in a kayak, and East Inlet is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Holeb Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through July while February is generally the driest month.       This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Holeb Pond called the Bald Mountain Trail, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Sugarloaf USA. Loon Pond is a nice lake close to Holeb Pond, and a short trip to Camel Rips is always worthwhile. High temperatures at Holeb Pond all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the                  20's while the cold winter nights at Holeb Pond are in the-10's. A glorious spot to camp here at Holeb Pond is Jackman Landing Campground, and there are other sites here than Holeb Pond, for example Long Bog.
