Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Holbrook Pond. Stay the night at Greenwood Acres Campground, and the skiing at New Hermon Mountain is glorious. A splendid close by hotel is Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center; the Peaked Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Holbrook Pond is right by the Old Gold Mine Trail. Lakes are pleasant; Davis Pond is a lake that's right next       door to Holbrook Pond. You're perhaps keen on lakes, George Pond is one of those nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Kidder Brook is a stream you can go to during your stay. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Holbrook Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay University Inn Academic Suites is a good choice, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Penobscot River. This                  lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail, and Holbrook Pond is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Red Barn RV Park is a delightful site to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Holbrook Pond commonly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Holbrook Pond. Holbrook Pond is a good place of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillwater River, and lots of folks from Bangor come here.
