Hog Meadow Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Kokatosi Campground is a nice local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lost Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Hog Meadow Pond there are plenty of people from Portland-South Portland; after a long day outdoors Residence       Inn Auburn is a delightful location to spend a night or two. A tremendous place to camp here at Hog Meadow Pond is Kingsley Pines Camp, and on a glorious day you can stop at The Heath, a swamp in the neighborhood of Hog Meadow Pond. This place, Hog Meadow Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Dry warm beds await you at The Elms Bed and Breakfast; get dripping wet paddling on Crooked River. The snow is great at Shawnee Peak. Hog Meadow Pond gets                  a large amount of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Summit Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time, and if you're here you should pop by Parsons Point. A glorious sight of beautiful Johnson Hill is available from Hog Meadow Pond; Dumpling Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. High temperatures at Hog Meadow Pond through the summertime are in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 50's.
