    It's always fun to stop by Hodgdon Pond. Goose Marsh is a swamp in close proximity to Hodgdon Pond; while here here do have a look at close by Echo Lake Beach. High temperatures at Hodgdon Pond through the months of summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hodgdon Pond fall into the 10's. This lake is  
   so wonderful. A fine vista of stunning Bald Hill is available from Hodgdon Pond, and time spent at Cobble Beach is always pleasant.
Don't leave Hodgdon Pond without first going for a hike along the South Face Trail; after a long day outdoors Harbor Heights Vacation Rental is a great place to spend a night or two. A trip to Goose Marsh Point close to Hodgdon Pond is always a glorious idea; float down the rapids of Blue Hill Falls in a kayak. Why not camp at White Birches Campground while you're here at Hodgdon Pond; if you need a place to stay Isleview Motel and Cottages is a great choice. Hodgdon Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain while August is regularly the driest month.
Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Hodgdon Pond rules! Acadia National Park is a great local destination here at Hodgdon Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Union River offers some tremendous whitewater, and there's great hiking along the Great Long Pond Trail.
