You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hocter Pond has to offer, you can camp at Conklin's Lodge & Camps. Hocter Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; November is the wettest       month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is a good lake close to Hocter Pond, and Penobscot River - East Branch is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. The American Thread Company Road offers hiking at its best, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Macwahoc Stream. Summertime highs at Hocter Pond regularly                  tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hocter Pond are in the 0's. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Hocter Pond. Hocter Pond is right by the Sandbank Trail; there are other spots here than Hocter Pond, for example Rush Pond.
