Go to Hobbs Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Hobbs Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Gregoire Campgrounds is a splendid local campground, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Great Works River. | | wonderful. Hobbs Pond Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and beaches are glorious and Moody Beach is no exception.
While you're here at Hobbs Pond you can play some golf at Merriland Farm Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hobbs Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gregoires Campground is a fine site for that, and a day at Wells Beach is time well spent. Town Woods is a good local forest, and after a long day outdoors Elmwood Resort Hotel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. There are other
spots here than Hobbs Pond, for example Old Falls Pond, and don't forget to take a good little trip to Hobbs Brook. Summertime highs at Hobbs Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into
the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Hobbs Pond tend to be in the 10's.
