What a nice lake Hobbs Pond is. On a glorious day at Hobbs Pond you can take a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail. Camden is a good local ski area, and a great close by hotel is Blue Harbor House Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some friendly folks from Rockland here. Lakes are pleasant; Moody Pond is a lake that's near Hobbs Pond.

| | a day to discover everything Hobbs Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mic Mac Cove Camp Ground. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Alford Lake Camp, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do right next door to Hobbs Pond. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Oyster River, and the top of Hatchet Mountain is easily seen from Hobbs Pond.

Pond, you'll locate Lermond Pond which is a striking lake, and if you need a place to stay The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a tremendous choice. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Hobbs Pond. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's.
Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hobbs Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. The high level of rainfall makes Hobbs Pond a quite wet location; the month with most
of the rain is November, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
A great spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Hobbs Pond is St. George River, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Mount Battie Trail.
