Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin       Inn, and Hobart Pond is right by the Jerry Pond Tote Road. This place, Hobart Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. Why not camp at Umcolcus Sporting Camps if you're here at Hobart Pond; there's whitewater on Seboeis River for all you adrenaline junkies. This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes. Moose Pond is a lake close by, and do take a hike on the Matagamon Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in                  luck, Hobart Deadwater is right close by; the Snowshoe Lake Road offers hiking at its best. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Horseback Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shin Brook River. At Hobart Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
