Hilton Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Going for a hike along the Hockomock Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Sheepscot River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Merrill Ledge is a fine location to explore nearby; if you need a spot to stay Sheepscot River Inn is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Cushman Hill is charming and can be seen from Hilton Pond, and Hilton Pond Dam is stunning.

| | site this is for outdoors people. Montsweag Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit; taking a little trip to nearby Birch Point is a tremendous idea. This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore close by Ward Brook if you're here at Hilton Pond. Hilton Pond regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

place to do that; paddling on Damariscotta River is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at Schooner Inn. There's so much to do here at Hilton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chewonki Campground is a magnificent site
for that. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Hilton Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; overnight lows at Hilton Pond throughout the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 0's.
