Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you came to camp Wilde Pines Campground is a fine site to do that; don't leave Hidden Pond without first going for a hike along the Sweets Trail. Collis Brook is a glorious place to visit, and you can go for a hike on the Pierce Tote       Road. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the vicinity of Hidden Pond? Beaver Pond is around here. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn, and there's whitewater on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Hidden Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Hidden Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's,                  and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hidden Pond are in the-10's. A day on the slopes of Bigrock is just what you need.
