This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hidden Pond you can take a hike along       the Pierce Tote Road, and if you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. The annual precipitation here at Hidden Pond is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Through the days of summer highs here at Hidden Pond reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights                  come with lows in the-10's to Hidden Pond. Whitewater paddling is nice on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Sweets Trail. So many amusing things to do here at Hidden Pond, too splendid to be true. Bear Mountain Lodge is a splendid campground nearby, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Kennedy Tote Road.
