This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mount Abram; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Androscoggin River. Why not check out Hicks Pond Dam if you're here, and dry warm beds await you at The Bethel Inn Resort. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the White Mountains. Bald Bluff is simple to spot from Hicks Pond; if the weather is tremendous, you can go

| | for a hike along the Albany Notch Trail. Hicks Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hicks Pond. Be careful coming to Hicks Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. There are other places here than Hicks Pond, for example Indian Pond, and Hicks Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Papoose Pond Camping Resort is a nice local campground. stuff in the White Mountains, just astonishing. Not far from Hicks Pond, you'll stumble on Mud Pond which is a beautiful lake, and hiking along the Albany Brook Trail is splendid fun. Going for a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and The Perennial Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. Summertime at Hicks Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures
plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Hicks Pond tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Really wonderful skiing awaits you
at Black Mountain, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Black Brook. There's so much to do here at Hicks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Littlefield Beaches Campground is a wonderful site for that; get your
pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Crooked River. From a precipitation point of view Hicks Pond is a quite normal place; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
