Many people like to go to Hicks Pond. If the weather is tremendous here at Hicks Pond, you can go for a hike along the Albany Notch Trail. Hicks Pond is a good place of common rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This location, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Really nice skiing awaits you at Black Mountain, and you can have a great hiking adventure

| | along the Albany Brook Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You can observe Bald Bluff from Hicks Pond; skiing at Mount Abram is one of those things you just should do. Why not camp at Littlefield Beaches Campground while you're here at Hicks Pond, and if you need a place to stay Mollyockett Motel & Swim Spa is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Indian Pond, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Albany Mountain Trail.

Very magnificent water scenery is available at Hicks Pond Dam in close proximity to Hicks Pond, and after a long day outdoors Waterford Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's
even more entertaining stuff to do here at Hicks Pond. There are some nice whitewater spots on Crooked River, and there's some flowing water close by, Black Brook is a stream you can explore while here. At Hicks Pond during the summer
months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Hicks Pond dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
So
much entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Camping at Hicks Pond is splendid fun, Papoose Pond Camping Resort is a splendid local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Androscoggin River offers some glorious whitewater. Hicks Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
