Maine has many beautiful lakes and Hewett Marsh is one of them. High temperatures at Hewett Marsh during the warm months are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Hewett Marsh nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Hewett Marsh regularly gets lots of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Loon's Cove Golf Course; Hewett Marsh is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Yonder Hill Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby. of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Hewett Marsh. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Eaton Mountain, and paddling on Sebasticook River is so much fun. Two Rivers Campground is a nice campground nearby; Wesserunsett Stream has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.

Eaton Mountain

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.
You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.
We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.
