     The scenery at Heron Lake Dam right next door to Heron-Churchill Lakes is gorgeous; a visit to Chase Rapids will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings. Heron-Churchill Lakes gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Heron-Churchill Lakes, you could also go to beautiful Churchill Lake; Harrow Brook is close to Heron-Churchill Lakes  
   and is always a pleasure to stop by. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Allagash River, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a perfect site to spend a night or two.
So many entertaining things to do at Heron-Churchill Lakes, so little time. Grass Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and going for a hike on the Chase Carry is always a great adventure. Do schedule some
 
               time to visit Heron Lake in close proximity to Heron-Churchill Lakes if you have a chance, and good hiking is available along the Carry Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
High temperatures at Heron-Churchill Lakes throughout the days of summer are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's while Heron-Churchill Lakes nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Smith Brook has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can go for a hike on the Telephone Trail.
