Glide down the rapids of Sandy Stream in a kayak, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Mink Pond. This lake is so wonderful. the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Helon Taylor Pond drop into the-10's. Helon Taylor Pond is a good place of common rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is when
it's the driest. Not far from Helon Taylor Pond, you'll find Rum Pond which is a beautiful lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Chimney Pond Trail.
