High temperatures at Lake Hebron throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's; the overnight is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Hebron are in the-10's. Lake Hebron gets a typical       amount of annual rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Balsam woods Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Towne Pond in close proximity to Lake Hebron, it's a picturesque lake. If you need a site to stay Pittsfield Motor Inn is a brilliant choice,                  and why not stop at Towne Cove also since you're here. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Piscataquis River - East Branch. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Lake Hebron has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Piscataquis River offers some good whitewater, and a wonderful lake like Doe Pond is a good location to check out. This lake is so wonderful.
