    The beauty of Heald Pond is reason enough to stop by. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Heald Pond. Jackman Trading Post is a splendid campground nearby; as expected Parker Bog Brook flows through this neighborhood. The sight of gorgeous Heald Mountain near Heald Pond is great, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Saddleback. Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area close by. Lakes are brilliant; Parker Bog Ponds  
   is a lake that's next to Heald Pond.
All through the summertime here at Heald Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Heald Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Near Heald Pond you locate the Sally Mountain Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and not far from Heald Pond you'll discover Bill Morris Pond which is a beautiful
 
               lake. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Spencer Stream; there are pleasant spots to discover along the Arnolds Trail.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Heald Pond is close to the national average; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. If you came for an overnight stay Loon Echo Campground is a perfect location to camp; going for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Spencer Stream has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by.

NOVICES & INTERMEDIATES CAN SKI FROM THE SUMMIT -- FOR THE FIRST TIME
The new quad chairlift also allows novice and intermediate skiers to ski from the summit for the first time. Novices can now enjoy the panoramic views and ski along the 4000 ft. ridge amongst rime-frosted conifers before descending to the base via the 3.1 mile America and Hudson Highway trails. Intermediates can ski Tri-Color and Green Weaver, a one mile loop, back to the Kennebago Chair.
4 NEW TRAILS
Black Beauty, Frost Bite and Artula (black diamond) were added off the new Kennebago Quad Chair. Hornberg (green circle) is a new easier trail in the South Branch beginner/family area which also provides access to ski-in ski-out trails for the South Branch and Mountain Brook condominiums.
