From Heald Pond you get a great sight of Heald Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Arnolds Trail. Going for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a great adventure, and of course Parker Bog Brook flows through this neighborhood. Through the days of summer at Heald Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while       the cold winter nights at Heald Pond are in the-10's. A day on the slopes of Sugarloaf USA is just what you need; if you come at the right time of year, Spencer Stream offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Little Enchanted Pond is a lake close by, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Sally Mountain Trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at Heald Pond; July                  is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Spencer Lake is near Heald Pond. Camping is available at Loon Echo Campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is relatively near. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
