While you're here at Haycock Pond you can take a hike along the Lead Mountain Trail, and the peak of Jimmies Mountain can be observed from Haycock       Pond. Camping is available at Cold Spring Campground, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Eagle Lake Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. A perfect place to camp here at Haycock Pond is Maple Grove Campground, and get soaked paddling on Nicatous Stream. Haycock Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls during November, and February is when it's the driest. This                  lake is so wonderful.
