Haycock Pond is a nice lake to visit. For the period of the summertime months at Haycock Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Haycock Pond. Going for a hike on the Lead Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and paddling on Nicatous Stream is so much fun. Any time is a magnificent time

Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Haycock Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Spring Campground is a good place for that. The summit of Jimmies Mountain can be distinguished from Haycock
Pond. Haycock Pond gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Visit Allen Brook since you're here at Haycock Pond, and if you're here, you could also stop by picturesque Horseshoe Lake.
