Stay the night at Red Barn RV Park, and you can go for a hike on the Bald       Mountain Trail. Hatcase Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout November, and the driest month is February. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Hatcase Pond is Penobscot River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hatcase Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Hatcase Pond.                  This lake is so wonderful.
