Beaver Pond Brook flows through this region, and there's always Cumberland Dam to stop at near Haskell Pond. Paddling on Chandler Brook is so much fun; you can stay the night at Wassamki Springs.

Saccarappa Falls while you're here at Haskell Pond, and Haskell Pond is not far at all from Portland-South Portland.
At Haskell Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to
the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Haskell Pond.
