If you need a place to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a great choice; Harriman Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Red Barn RV Park is a good place to camp nearby. Harriman Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. temperatures at Harriman Pond descend into the 0's. Playing golf is lots of fun at Lucerne Golf Course; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Lake Stream. Narramissic River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Harriman Pond; the Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.

Pushaw Lake Campground
 | 14 miles away Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.
We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us. Maybe you just want to lay around on our beach and do nothing but listen to the loons, whatever the case may be come and do it with us at Pushaw Lake Campground and let us make your camping experience the best yet.... |
