Hardy Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So many fun things in the vicinity of Hardy Pond, definitely astonishing. If you need a site to stay Katahdin Inn is a nice choice, and the nice folks of Bangor like to hang out nearby. There's great hiking along the Scutaze Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piscataquis River. | | are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Hardy Pond. Hardy Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Stream. Good hiking is available along the Hardy Pond Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Hardy Pond is King's Trailer Park. A brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center; Hardy Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Lake Camp is a wonderful local campground.
