    Beautiful Hardy Pond has much to offer visitors. From a precipitation point of view Hardy Pond is a pretty normal location; most of the rain falls all through July; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hardy Pond you can take a hike along the Shore Trail; in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Turtle Pond is just a very short distance away.

   South Branch Lake Camp, and there are plenty of folks from Bangor here at Hardy Pond. Glide down the rapids of Schoodic Stream in a kayak; after a long day outdoors Katahdin Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Hardy Pond during the warm months are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hardy Pond sink into  
               the-10's.
If you came for an overnight stay King's Trailer Park is a nice place to camp, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Hardy Pond Trail. Going for a hike along the Scutaze Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, as expected you could also take a look at Lard Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. This place, Hardy Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Paddling on Piscataquis River is so much fun, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Black Bear Inn & Conference Center is a magnificent choice.
