Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really abundant here at Hancock Pond. Abbott Brook Dike is a wonderful site in the neighborhood of Hancock Pond, and if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Titcomb. Summertime at Hancock       Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Hancock Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Carrabasset, and you can stay the night at Happy Horseshoe Campground. Hancock Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the snow is November while February is usually the                  driest month. There's so much to do here at Hancock Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gilman Pond Campground is a perfect place for that, and if you've had enough of Hancock Pond, Gilman Stream Reservoir is close by. Hancock Pond is not the only location nearby, Aziscohos Lake is a nearby lake, and Herbert Grand Hotel is a delightful site to get some rest. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Sandy Stream, and hey, Gotta ski right?
