     Here at Hancock Pond you can observe Black Hill, and there are great locations to look at along the Arnolds Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really abundant here at Hancock Pond. Abbott Brook Dike is a wonderful site in the neighborhood of Hancock Pond, and if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Very charming scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Titcomb. Summertime at Hancock  
   Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Hancock Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Carrabasset, and you can stay the night at Happy Horseshoe Campground. Hancock Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the snow is November while February is usually the
 
               driest month. There's so much to do here at Hancock Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gilman Pond Campground is a perfect place for that, and if you've had enough of Hancock Pond, Gilman Stream Reservoir is close by.
Hancock Pond is not the only location nearby, Aziscohos Lake is a nearby lake, and Herbert Grand Hotel is a delightful site to get some rest. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Sandy Stream, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sugarloaf USA is a great place to do that.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
