Throughout the summer months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Hancock Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hancock Pond. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Hancock Pond will keep you coming       back many times. Middle Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Shawnee Peak is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Crooked River; you can catch a glimpse of Allen Mountain from Hancock Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Bridgton Pines Cabins and Campground is a good place to camp; Hancock Pond Dam is not far at all from Hancock Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting                  covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River, and King Pine is a wonderful local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Blackburn Point is close to Hancock Pond and is a wonderful place to take a look at; close by you discover the Albany Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Having a glorious time at Hancock Pond is uncomplicated. Dry warm beds await you at Pleasant Mountain Inn. If you need a spot to stay Oxford House Inn is a delightful choice, and why not camp at Canal Bridge Campground since you're here at Hancock Pond. Sucker Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Albany Brook Trail.
