This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Alamoosook Lake near Hancock Pond is a perfect place to go to, and the Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Take a hike on the Peaked Mountain Trail. High temperatures at Hancock Pond all through the days of summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Hancock Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
