Hammond Pond is a nice lake to visit. The amount of precipitation that falls at Hammond Pond is close to the national average; November is the month that gets the most snow while February is mostly the driest month. Camping is available at Happy Horseshoe Campground, and there are tremendous sites to explore along the Bigelow Range Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
