This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Arnolds Trail, and do check out Hammond Field Brook while you're here at Hammond Pond. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrabasset. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort       Inn & Suites, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Sugarloaf USA. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hammond Pond; Bigelow Range Trail is a tremendous local trail, and you acquire a great vista of Little Poplar Mountain from here. Hammond Pond is a good location of common rain; November is the month that gets the most snow while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs                  in the 70's to Hammond Pond with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while Hammond Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Really great skiing awaits you at Titcomb; Herbert Grand Hotel is a good place to get some rest. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Hammond Pond. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Grindstone Pond is a lake nearby, and why not camp at Happy Horseshoe Campground while you're here at Hammond Pond.
