There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Hamilton Pond called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop by Mill Stream. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hamilton Pond a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Hamilton Pond comes with high       temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Hamilton Pond all through the wintertime generally plunge into the 0's. Swamps like Austin Bog are fun to stop by; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
