Do stop by Hamilton Pond while you're in this part of Maine. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do right next door to Hamilton Pond. Hamilton Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mt Desert Narrows Camping Resort is a nice local campground, and the views at Acadia National Park will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Hamilton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hadleys Point Campground is a great

| | location for that; you can see Frenchmans Hill from Hamilton Pond. For the duration of the warm months here at Hamilton Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Hamilton Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. November is the one with the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Bay Meadow Cottages, and close by you hit
upon Eastern Bay. Going for a hike on the North Ridge Trail is always a great adventure; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Bar Harbor Golf Course is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Aunt Betseys Brook is
a nice site to take a look at, and a tremendous beach nearby is Lamoine Beach. Beaches are good; and Marlboro Beach near Hamilton Pond is no exception, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Union River. Googins Ledge is in the
neighborhood of Hamilton Pond and is a good location, and Hamilton Pond Dam is a delightful spot. This lake is so wonderful. Branch Lake Stream is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Hamilton Pond. The McFarland Hill
Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Hamilton Pond; a wooded area close by is Eno Pines. Hamilton Pond is not the only site nearby, Fawn Pond is a nearby lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Inn is
a pleasant choice. A swamp like Fresh Meadow in the vicinity of Hamilton Pond has lots of interesting things to see, and nearby you hit upon the Conners Nubble Trail which is a good hiking trail.
