In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Hamilton Pond is one of them. You don't must go far from Hamilton Pond to enjoy Eno Pines, and Best Western Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Union River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hamilton Pond; North Ridge Trail is a good local trail. Eastern Bay is close by and always wonderful to stop by, and Marlboro Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Hamilton Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. If you want to hit the beach,
Lamoine Beach is around here. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hamilton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mount Desert Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Branch Lake Stream,
and Googins Ledge is in the neighborhood, and is a nice place. So many cool things to do at Hamilton Pond, so little time. If you haven’t been to Acadia National Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here, and
good hiking is available along the Conners Nubble Trail. Just can't get enough of Hamilton Pond. Fresh Meadow is a swamp right next door to Hamilton Pond, and don't leave Hamilton Pond without first going for a hike along the McFarland
Hill Trail. A quick visit to Aunt Betseys Brook near Hamilton Pond is a magnificent idea, and golf can be played at Bar Harbor Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hadleys Point Campground, and one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Hamilton Pond is Frenchmans Hill.
