     While you're here at Hall Pond you can take a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. Lakes are good; Lizzies Bog is a lake that's close to Hall Pond. Herbert Grand Hotel is a good spot to get some rest. The amount of rain that falls at Hall Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is February. Going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and South  
   Branch Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.
Throughout the long summer days highs here at Hall Pond get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Hall Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. If the weather is nice here at Hall Pond, you can go for a hike along the Sally Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling
 
               is good on Penobscot River - South Branch. This place is unbeatable, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do next to Hall Pond. Paddling on Penobscot River - South Branch is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Hall Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Jackman Landing Campground is a splendid site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Mary Petuche Pond is a lake nearby, and Hall Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Moose River Campground is a fine local campground.
