Don't leave Halfmoon Pond without first going for a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail; at Halfmoon Pond you always meet someone from Rockland. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Spring Brook Trail, and the skiing at Camden is good. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Lake Passagassawakeag next       to Halfmoon Pond, it's a charming lake, and Ellis Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Camping is available at Aldus Shores Lakeside Camping, and if you need a location to stay Londonderry Inn is a great choice. There are great locations to discover along the Mount Megunticook Trail; a magnificent place to camp here at Halfmoon Pond is Cozy Pines Campground.
