After a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Brook Trail is always a great adventure. Some of the water close by flows, like Edmunds Bog Brook, and from Halfmoon Pond you acquire a wonderful vista of Carr Mountain. like golf, you can stop at Oakdale Country Club, and you can stay the night at Dummer's Beach.
From a rain point of view Halfmoon Pond is a pretty common place; all through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month
is February. Halfmoon Pond is located in the White Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn.
If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Black Mountain has magnificent
slopes and a friendly staff, and there are glorious locations to look at along the Chimney Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Falls is an inspiring location to visit while you're here; if you come at the right time of year, Bowley Brook offers some splendid whitewater.
