Some of the water close by flows, like Edmunds Bog Brook, and from Halfmoon Pond you acquire a wonderful vista of Carr Mountain. slopes and a friendly staff, and there are glorious locations to look at along the Chimney Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Falls is an inspiring location to visit while you're here; if you come at the right time of year, Bowley Brook offers some splendid whitewater.
