     Halfmoon Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Bethel Inn Resort is a great place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Halfmoon Pond. Hiking along the Chimney Trail is splendid fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Honey Run Beach and Campgrounds is a good site to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Little Androscoggin River for all you thrill seekers, and Mountain View
 
   Campground is a pleasant local campground. Mount Abram has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Abbotts Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the White Mountains. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Nezinscot River - West Branch, and you can see Bald Mountain from Halfmoon Pond.
High temperatures at Halfmoon Pond through the summer months are in the 70's.
 
               When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Halfmoon Pond temperatures drop to the-10's. Really good skiing awaits you at Black Mountain, and a great close by hotel is The Perennial Inn. From a precipitation point of view Halfmoon Pond is a rather typical spot; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is February.
Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is abundant here in the White Mountains. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Brook Trail, and a lake nearby is Washburn Pond.
