Beautiful Hafey Pond has much to offer visitors. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Falls Brook, and Hafey Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Little Black Check Point is a good place to camp nearby. Going for a hike on the Rocky Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure, and at Hafey Pond you can make out Hafey Mountain. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Hafey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place for whitewater paddling close to Hafey Pond is St. Francis River, and Lakeview Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground.
