Dead River - South Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Gull Pond; North Camps is a delightful local campground. That right there is a lot of fun stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. If you're here at Gull Pond and you like golf, you can explore Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School, and there's great hiking along the Bemis Trail. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home       again. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Saddleback, and tremendous hiking is available along the Piazza Rock Trail. From a rainfall point of view Gull Pond is a quite normal place; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Black Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Third Greely Pond. During the summertime highs here at Gull Pond get into the                  70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Gull Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gull Pond; Bemis Stream Trail is a perfect local trail, and after a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Roland Pond in the neighborhood of Gull Pond is a good site to have a look at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Gull Pond.
