Chain Lake Dam is a spot that is next to Grover Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Machias River. Not far from Grover Lake, you'll find Trout Lake which is a pretty lake, and while you're here, you could take a look at Chain Lake Stream. Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Old Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; First Chain Lake is a lake that's next to Grover Lake, and camping at Big Lake Campground is always a great experience.

 | Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
