A perfect site to camp here at Green Pond is Cold Spring Campground, as expected you could also go to Little Madagascal Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. An average amount of rain falls at Green Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Green Pond in fact is in the middle of       a scenic outdoors paradise. There are tremendous spots to look at along the Eagle Lake Trail. High temperatures at Green Pond through the warm months are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while Green Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Green Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sleeping                  Bear Camping is a good local campground, and float down the rapids of Passadumkeag River in a kayak. Nearby lakes?
