This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a great panorama of Oak Mountain from Green Lake; after a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Green Lake a wet spot; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain;       February meanwhile is the driest month. During the summer here at Green Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Green Lake are in the 0's. Green Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Cold Spring Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby, obviously you could also explore Stiles Lake while you're here; it's not                  far at all. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mopang Stream. Near Green Lake you stumble on the Lead Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Maple Grove Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. All the outdoors entertaining things in the neighborhood of Green Lake will keep you coming back many times.
