Eastland Park Hotel is a great spot to get some rest; you'll find a scenic lake called Richards Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Royal River; if you're here you should go to Adams Head. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Great Pond. Hit the slopes at Lost Valley nearby. Great Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, A Vacationland Campground is a splendid       local campground; during your stay here do have a look at nearby Crescent Beach. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Great Pond. Alewife Brook is a great place to stop at, and Great Pond is a site with many visitors from Portland-South Portland. Through the months of summer highs here at Great Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights                  come with lows in the 10's to Great Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Great Pond, you could also take a look at striking Little Pond, and paddling on Chandler Brook is so much fun. Great Pond frequently gets a great deal of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. For you golfers we recommend close by Pleasant Hill Golf Course, and time spent at Cliff House Beach is always nice. Camping at Bayley's Camping Resort is always a splendid experience; the peak of Blue Hill can be distinguished from Great Pond.
