Summertime highs at Great Moose Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Great Moose Lake tend to be in the 0's. Some of the water nearby flows, like Higgins Stream, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. If you       don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kingsbury Stream, and Mainstream Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Great Moose Lake. Great Moose Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is July; February is when it's the driest. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Great Moose Lake.
